THIS is the place to go for satiating your kulfi and dessert craving. I ordered takeaway of meetha pan and malai kulfi, while a friend settled with chocolate kulfi. All of them were amazeballs! Also, since they did not have medium portion of meetha pan, they promptly upgraded it to a large portion. Such sweets! 😉

RATED Amazing stuff! Especially the chocolate paani puri! The ambience was good, prices were a bit less reasonable, but that was compensated by the ambience, service and pretty unique and creative desserts. Great place!

Great variety of kulfis. I liked the way they serve kulfi unconventionally by giving flat kulfis. Must try their pista matka kulfi. The ambience is really refreshing.

I just do not know how I never stumbled upon this place before! I’ve always loved Kulfis – and the variety that Kulfi House has to offer can literally blow one’s mind away.

Decor : Wooden tables (that are cafe styled and slightly low), wooden blanks converted into benches and a bright atmosphere. Easily the kind of place that would suit for a post meal dessert – with both friends and family.

The only downside they ain’t equipped for large groups – with their booth like seating. We were a group of 13 and we literally had to squeeze ourselves around one of the larger tables.

What we had : The quantities are large, as well. – I loved my Malai kulfi! A classic – and done just right.

Another flavour that impressed me was the tender coconut. Almost similar with the Gulkand.
My friends seemed to love their Paan flavour.
The strawberry flavour had an essence to it. Not the best of what they have to offer.

Cost : We paid a little more than 100 rupees per person for this – And I must state that it’s value for money in all ways.

Bottomline : Such a fine place – some really exotic flavours. And Yes, I’ll be back to taste more

Visited this place at midnight for some dessert after dinner… We decided to go by the reviews and ordered their specialities… We ordered paan with toppings, tender coconut and a kulfi stick with 3 flavours (badam, mango and pista)….

All the kulfis were creamy and tastes divine… The tender coconut had a wonderful natural flavour and had tiny pieces of tender coconut in it that pended a amazing surprise…

The paan kulfi was good though I felt topping was too much….

The kulfi stick was also good..Bill came to Rs 280 for the three kulfis… but pricey but since the quality was good I won’t complain… They are open till 12:30am so perfect for that late night sweet tooth craving… Ambience is nice with comfortable seating….. Nice place to visit for kulfis….

A fantastic hangout for the great indian “dessert” = the kulfi. Hailing from Mumbai, i had wondered where I could get a good kulfi dessert in Chennai. I had heard a lot about the Kulfi House, Anna Nagar but never ended up going as it was too far. But when their 2nd location opened right next door, we couldn’t resist going there.

Pretty amazed by their decor, flavor options, very reasonable pricing and to top it all INNOVATION. They gave us a few samples to try, each of them beat the other but the crowning glory was the guava flavored kulfi with salt and red chilli powder topping!! What a burst of flavors. The gulkand kulfi too was amazing. The old time favorites of malai, pista, kesar pista had to be the best and they were. The surprise was blueberry kulfi, that was totally cool.

Def a most visit for the dessert, ambience, and the friendly staff

A lovely, bright, colorful place that houses some smashing kulfis! It was a shame that we visited them after a heavy dinner and thus, could dig our teeth into only one of their frozen beauties.

I suppose they have over 50 different varieties and flavours, tempting the sweet tooth of most visitors. We took a meetha paan and a gulkand kulfi and both were delicious! Despite well stuffed, I slurped mine in no time 🙂

The place also stocks some milkshakes and falooda which I plan to try next time.

Much recommend (on a generous tummy!).

Kulfi for two: INR 200

It’s been a while since I wrote a review. Here is a spot which deserves a good review.

Located in the highway connecting Porur junction near by DLF IT park. What do I like about this ice cream parlour? It’s the innovation.

The ambiance feels all 90s milk bar with a mix of modern ice cream parlours.

There is a variety of kulfis here. An authentic Desi kulfi can be either almond, kesar or sometimes cashew or pista. Rest of all the flavors are just another ice cream. However, we can go by the name goes, all the kulfis are made up of 100% desi milk, I have to give credits for this for sure.

Their signature house special kulfi is a must try.

++ There is something called Pani Puri kulfi which is not there is menu and I would say one of the best innovative dish. Picture attached. It reminds me of twist of a dish straight out of twist of taste by master chef Vikas Khanna. The Puri is filled with a little quantity of chocolate, dry fruits, tuity fruity and some raisens. Along with this a small portion of melted mango kulfi is given which is filled inside the Puri. Gosh, one of the finest desert to end a day I would say. A must try dish for sure. Promote this Pani Puri kulfi, this should be your signature dish.

The place cannot accommodate a big group of people. A perfect place for a quick bite of ice cream along with family or a small group of friends. But I can see a success story coming all the way for Kulfi House down the line.

The cost is very decent. Each dish costs around 60 to 100₹ . I can’t wait to visit this place again. I took few pot kulfis which did not disappoint me. Photos attached.

A beautiful dinner at Chinese Story restaurant not far from this place with a dessert from Kulfi House is what I call a perfect evening.
